Data Deletion

What we hold

For the Facebook Page connection we store your Facebook user ID and name, the Page and linked Instagram account you chose, and encrypted access tokens. For competitor lookups we store only the Instagram usernames you track. Profile and post data is fetched live from Meta and never stored.

How to delete your data

• Disconnect in Cico: open Settings > Integrations and click "Disconnect" on the Facebook Page or Instagram card. This deletes the stored access token for that connection right away.
• Remove tracked handles: on the Competitors screen, remove any page or competitor you no longer want saved.
• Remove the app from Facebook: go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find CICO, click Remove, and select the option to delete your data. Facebook notifies us automatically, and we delete your stored Facebook connection and give you a confirmation code.
• Email us: [set PRIVACY_CONTACT_EMAIL]. We reply within 30 days.
